WHY WE GIVE: With Jesus as our example and because of what He has done for us, we are called to be generous in every aspect of our life. We’re commanded to give our time, talent, and treasure generously, cheerfully, and sacrificially to the local church as a first step.
HOW WE GIVE: We believe it is the responsibility of every individual believer to give as part of their worship. We also believe that we should not ask anything of our people that we are not practicing as a congregation. Therefore, as a congregation, we make it a priority to tithe to local and global outreach projects and missionaries at least 15% of the annual donations received.
GIVING IN FAITH: For many, the idea of bringing the first 10% of one’s income to the Church seems overwhelming. The thing is, it doesn’t matter how much or how little we make, God promises to pour out blessings on us when we tithe. Tithing is about training our heart to trust God at His Word. Tithing is not only an act of obedience, it is an act of trust in the God who gives us all things! We know generosity is a huge step of obedience, but God is faithful to His Word, to His promises, and to His people!
